Giving back through CSI initiatives
We have never believed a business should operate in isolation. That is why Quay 1 is actively involved in initiatives that help maintain and improve the areas we work in.
Our support spans youth upliftment and development, animal welfare organisations, homelessness organisations, local sports clubs, schools, beach clean-ups, neighbourhood watches, and relief efforts in times of local crisis, such as wildfires. Building mutually beneficial relationships with these communities allows us to be seen not only as market leaders, but as a port of call when it matters most.

Quay 1 Local Lowdown
The Local Lowdown is our social media series that takes you around Cape Town to spotlight the local places and events you need to check out. We love showcasing hidden gems that might not be widely known to the public, or to anyone who isn't from the area. By shining a light on local businesses, venues and community events, the series helps drive new visitors and support to the people who make our neighbourhoods special, while celebrating the character that makes Cape Town home.

What causes does Quay 1 support?
Quay 1 supports a wide range of local causes, including youth upliftment and development, animal welfare organisations, homelessness organisations, local sports clubs, schools, beach clean-ups, neighbourhood watches, and relief efforts in times of local crisis, such as wildfires.
How can my organisation approach Quay 1 for support?
Reach out via our Contact Form with a short introduction to your organisation, the community it serves and the support you are seeking. We receive a large number of requests and cannot support them all, but we will be in touch wherever there is a good fit!
Does Quay 1 sponsor local sports clubs?
Yes. Supported clubs include Gardens Lawn Tennis Club, Camps Bay Tennis Club, Camps Bay Squash Club, Rondebosch Hockey Club, Fresnaye Sports Club and Tamboerskloof Swiss Tennis Club, among others.
